April 19 - In conjunction with a workday...The lighting of Two Lights for Tomorrow (part of America250, a nonpartisan initiative working to engage every American in commemorating the 250th anniversary of our country.)
July 12: Tour the Klessig farmstead in Manitowoc County, July 19 tour the Saxonia House and beer cave(Info here)
Sept 20 - Oktoberfest! Music, tours, German food, Beer AND a commemoration celebrating the 170th birthday of the Saxonia House!
Oct 18- an autumn workday
2025 Workdays:
Workdays are a great way to engage with Friends of The Saxonia House and the community. Wear your work clothes, gloves, water, and a sack lunch, or just bring a lunch and find a shady place to witness the action. We meet on the following Saturdays, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Property address: 421 County Road. H, Fredonia, WI 53021.
